What is a Standard DBS Check?
The DBS Standard Check will check the applicant’s history for any spent convictions, unspent convictions, cautions or reprimands. It will not check any police records nor is the application type eligible for Barring List Checks. These application types are therefore generally processed quicker than the Enhanced Application and can return results in as little as 24 hours.
Standard DBS Application Eligibility
